The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out website to the higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The support issue developed for intervention activities a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to enable the servicing of all consumers and enhance use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
